Spooky season would not be complete without a Halloween shopping trip, or rather five or more shopping trips. Before October even arrives I start checking out many stores for Halloween decor. This year I found a lot of great items, way before October even arrived. Today on Blog-O-Ween Day 5 I am sharing my Halloween Kitchen Decor Haul!
The three main places where I found all of these items were at T.J. Maxx, Home Goods, and Homesense. You definitely have to check these stores early in the season. Some of these items I purchased in August and others were found later in September.
Halloween Dishes
The first category of kitchen Halloween items I found are dishes. First I came across these skeleton dishes. I purchased similar skeleton plates from the same brand, Royal Stafford, a few years ago. The plates this year caught my eye because they are wedding themed. Home Goods also had some bowls in the same skeleton wedding pattern.
My mom found this set of three black and white striped bowls at Home Goods. There are three different size bowls which comes in handy and I love the pattern on them.
This next set of dishes was a total score at T.J. Maxx! I saw people posting about these dishes in Nightmare Before Christmas groups online but I did not come across them until a few weeks ago. I saw these Jack Skellington dishes at T.J. Maxx and had to contain my excitement. I purchased all the dishes they had, which includes dinner plates, smaller plates, and bowls.
Halloween Mugs
The next category of items in this Halloween Kitchen decor haul is mugs. I love coffee and tea and I enjoy drinking these beverages out of fun mugs. This past year I got really into Rae Dunn mugs and found a lot of great ones for Halloween. Rae Dunn mugs are such a good size for me because they hold a lot. I especially love the mugs with the toppers on them. They are also very festive mugs for the season. My mom and I like to get matching mugs and use them on the same day.
Other Halloween Items
The last category in my Halloween Kitchen decor haul includes kitchen towels, oven mitts, and a tiered tray. These were all items I spotted in T.J. Maxx or HomeGoods and there was only one of each item left. I have not seen any of these items in stores since.
I have especially been enjoying the skeleton hand tiered tray! It has been fun to decorate and I featured in the Blog-O-Ween Day 1- 2021 Nightmare Before Christmas Coffee Bar post this year.
I hope you have enjoyed Blog-O-Ween Day 5 and this Halloween Kitchen Decor Haul! After reading this I hope you get some spooky inspiration to go on the hunt for your own Halloween Kitchen items!
