Spring Skulls and Stripes

While I was out shopping a few weeks ago, I came across a couple great t-shirts for spring and summer! I was browsing around Express and found a few t-shirts from their One Eleven collection. I only have one other shirt from this collection and it is super soft and comfortable! This t-shirt immediately caught my eye because of the black and white stripes. Once I saw it was from the One Eleven collection and felt how soft it was, I knew I had to have it!

Not only is this shirt super soft, but it is light and lose fitting. I was able to take advantage of the warm weather a few weeks ago and style this shirt! I wanted to keep the black and white colors in this shirt a theme throughout my outfit, so I wore a black tank top underneath this shirt because it is cropped. I also decided on a pair of black shoes to tie the whole outfit together. I did want a pop of color amongst all the black, so I wore a pair of purple pants and teal Ray-Ban sunglasses!

This shirt is going to be perfect for the rest of spring and summer! It can be paired with a lot of different jeans, capris, and shorts. I will also not overheat in this shirt since it is so lightweight. I am hoping to find a few solid, neutral colored One Eleven tops just like this one to pair with all the different pattern shorts I have. Since this shirt is cropped, owning a few neutral colored shirts like this would help to show off the different patterns in all the bold shorts. I also decided to add more of a spring vibe to this look by wearing my daisy skull necklace from Betsey Johnson! I threw on a white, denim jacket on over this look when it got a little breezy out.
