Cozy in the Snow

I think I have found the perfect winter cardigan. I received this cardigan for Christmas and styled it for the first time the other day. This cardigan is from BCBG Generation and it is so warm! Since it is grey and white it can be styled many different ways. For this look I decided to stick with neutral colors.

I styled a long sleeve black shirt and a pair of grey jeans under this cardigan. Not only is this cardigan warm and cozy but it is the perfect length. I love how long it is, which keeps you even warmer on a cold winter day. Most importantly though, this cardigan has pockets! It also has an awesome zig-zag pattern running all over it.


 
I added a beanie to this look to keep me warm and to add a fun accessory. I chose a grey beanie to stay in the black, white, and grey color palette I was working with. I also wore a pair of fuzzy studded Bearpaw boots to keep my feet warm.


If you have been following The Poppy Skull for awhile now you know I always need at least one pop of color. For this look the pop of color took place in my sunglasses. I got these new green Ray-Bans for Christmas and I adore them. These green sunglasses added a great unexpected pop of color against a neutral outfit.

If you are looking to stay warm and stylish I would definitely recommend this long cardigan for the winter. There are many cardigans similar to this one available at H&M, Macy’s, and Lord and Taylor.
