Pretty in Powder Pink

I very rarely wear pink, however I received this light pink sweater from Volcom for Christmas and I absolutely love it! This sweater is a powder pink color, not hot pink, which is great for me. It is very comfortable and it has an awesome mesh and cable mixed pattern to it. I gave this sweater an edgy look with a pair of ripped jeans, a skull necklace, and a new pair of Tom’s booties.

This Volcom sweater does have open mesh spots on it so I wore a white tank top underneath. The sweater is very cozy and fits great. I can see myself styling this sweater with many different colors of jeans, but for this look I chose a pair of ripped denim jeans. I enjoyed how this wash of denim looked against the powder pink sweater.


I decided to wear my brand new Tom’s suede Leila booties with this look. This was my first time wearing these shoes and I adore them. I do not have a pair of grey booties and I love the tribal wool print on them. They are comfortable, easy to wear, and they will match a lot of outfits. I also love the zipper tassel on the back of them.



Light colored sweaters, such as this one from Volcom, are a lot of fun to wear during the gloomy winter months. They keep you warm but they also give you a great pop of color on a cloudy, cold, winter day. These sweaters also get you very hopeful for spring weather and clothing.
