Swiss Army Romance

Fall fashion is in full swing. This time of year it is all about transition pieces, cardigans, sweaters, and lighter jackets. However, if you are looking for something new to wear other than sweaters and cardigans, I would suggest trying out a vest! Vests are great to wear over a t-shirt on a warm fall day, or over a long sleeve shirt on a colder day.

My mom got me this vest for Christmas a few years ago. It is from Forever 21 and you can wear it zipped or unzipped. This vest also came with a belt that can be worn when the vest is zipped up. I love the grey color of this vest because it matches everything. One of my favorite details about this vest though is the studs on the collar.


I wore this outfit on a warm fall day when I did not need a jacket. I style a simple white t-shirt under my vest and paired it with my burgundy jeans. This vest definitely has an edgy, rock and roll vibe to it, which is right up my alley, so wearing my studded union jacket boots with this look was a must!


This look is pretty easy to put together and a lot of fun to wear. If you are thinking about purchasing a vest, now is a great time to do so with all the Christmas deals going on in stores and online. The weather has been pretty mild here, so a vest would be a great piece to wear now before it gets extremely cold out.
