Trick or Treat

Purchasing this awesome Halloween skirt from ModCloth was definitely a treat, not a trick! Before I bought this skirt, I had never purchased anything from ModCloth. I have no idea why I never shopped with them before because their clothing is amazing! They have such a great selection of unique products. Their clothing can get a little pricey but the past few times I bought items from them, I was able to use a coupon and receive free shipping.

ModCloth has an entire Halloween shop filled with dresses, skirts, tops, leggings, socks, accessories, and household items. After seeing this If Ya Got It, Haunt It Cotton A-Line Skirt, I had to purchase it.

As soon as I unboxed this shirt, I immediately tried it on. It fits really well and I still have room to tuck in a shirt or sweater. The skirt also hits me right above my knees. The haunted house pattern also continues onto the back of the skirt.

For my first time wearing this skirt, I decided to stick with a plain white t-shirt on top. The haunted house print on the skirt is clearly the focus of the outfit and I did not want to take away from that with a bold shirt. A black t-shirt would work well too.

My accessories for this look were black and of course Halloween themed. I wore black, criss-cross flats, black sunglasses and bracelet, and Jack Skellington’s bat bow tie necklace.

As if this skirt was not already awesome enough, it also has pockets!! Obviously, this haunted house skirt is perfect for October but I will definitely wear it all year. In the colder months, you could style this skirt with a white long sleeve shirt, a pair of black tights, and some black booties.
