You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown

The Peanuts Gang is one of my favorite groups of characters. I have different types of Peanuts Gang decor in my house and I have quite a few shirts with Snoopy on them. When I saw this pullover sweatshirt at Forever 21 a few years ago, I had to purchase it because it has Charlie Brown on it!

On this sweatshirt, Charlie Brown is all dressed up and ready to go somewhere special. I always enjoy wearing this pullover around Valentine’s Day because it makes me think Charlie Brown is all dressed up for  Valentine’s dinner.
For this look, I decided to switch it up and wear this pullover a little differently. Instead of just wearing a pullover sweatshirt with jeans, I decided to wear a red flannel underneath it. The red flannel made the look more fun and interesting, and it matched Charlie Brown’s bow tie.

Since I had a lot going on throughout the top half of my outfit, I kept the bottom half of my outfit simple. I wore a pair of black jeans and black studded boots.

This outfit was very cozy and a lot of fun to wear. I definitely liked mixing up a simple pullover and jeans look. Wearing a flannel or another type of collared shirt underneath a pullover sweatshirt can make the look more put together. If you have a collared shirt that is a contrasting color to your pullover, or that matches something small on the sweatshirt (such as Charlie Brown’s bowtie), this will make the look even more interesting.

Layering a flannel underneath a pullover also keeps you warmer, which I definitely need during this time of year. If you have a fun pullover sweatshirt and want to spice up your look a bit, give layering with a collared shirt a try! It is fun, different, and it keeps you warm!
