Reach For the Stars

A great item to have in your closet this summer is a cute dress. You do not just want any cute dress though, you want something that you are comfortable in and matches your style. I was able to find comfort and my style in this star dress from Express.

I had my eye on this dress for awhile and I finally ended up ordering it went on sale. I have had this dress for a few months but wore it for the first time while I was in California.

The star pattern all over this dress is what caught my eye. This dress has two thin straps and a pretty lace detail on the front neckline. I styled it for a casual day out with a pair of black zipper sandals. I also added a fun pop of color with one of my favorite pairs of sunglasses.

This dress can be styled from day to night by adding a pair of flats or heels. I did, however, wear a white cardigan over this dress because it was chilly at night. During the day though, the flowing, lightweight material kept me cool on a hot day in California.

I had a lot of fun wearing this look and trying something different. I am not a person to wear dresses very frequently but every once in awhile I enjoy mixing it up and wearing a casual dress.
