Skull Blouse: In and Out of the Office

If you have been following my blog for awhile now, you know I love anything and everything with a skull on it. When I was making my Christmas list last year, I saw this skull blouse from ModCloth and I had to include it on my list. I did receive it for Christmas and it is fun to style and wear for many occasions.

This skull blouse is very comfortable and it fits great. I clearly love the skull pattern on it but I also enjoy the black bow and matching black cuffs. The bow can come undone and you can tie the ribbon anyway you want. The ribbon is also sewn to the back of the collar so you will not lose it during the day or when you wash the blouse.


Even though I do not work in an office, I enjoy wearing button-up blouses, like this skull one. If you do have a dress code where you work and have to wear a blouse, why not wear a fun one that you love?!

Since I was just wearing this skull blouse on a casual work day, I decided to pair it with burgundy skinny jeans and black Toms boots. I also wore black and white sunglasses to match my blouse. I think this outfit would look great with a black, wide-brimmed hat as well.

You could style this skull blouse with many different bottoms, such as dress pants, skirts, and black jeans. Whether you are wearing a blouse to work or just for fun, I believe it is important to stay true to your style and express yourself.
