Fall Transitions

Depending on where you live, dressing for this time of year can be very difficult. It is officially fall but it still feels like summer where I am. I know a lot of people are excited to style fall fashion, but that can be difficult when it is still 80 degrees outside. A good way to beat the heat and start wearing some fall clothing is by incorporating some transitional pieces into your outfits. One of my favorite transitional pieces is this awesome Coral Aztec Cardigan from Trunk Up Boutique!

This Coral Aztec Cardigan is unique, bold, and super comfortable! I will definitely be finding ways to style this cardigan all year. For this outfit, I styled this cardigan over a basic summer look. The weather was warm when I wore this cardigan, however when it became cloudy it was a little chilly outside. This cardigan did a great job of keeping me warm and stylish.

When I was deciding what to wear with this cardigan I knew I did not want anything too distracting. I ended up wearing a basic white t-shirt with a pair of black shorts. I also enjoyed how my white t-shirt made the white in the print of this cardigan pop.

The colors and print on this cardigan so are bold and beautiful. I am a big fan of Aztec prints and bold colors. This cardigan can be styled with many different colors too. You can also add more pops of color to this look with a pair of bold colored shoes.


Since we are in a fall transitional period I decided to wear black shorts. However I would definitely wear this cardigan with an all white look in the summer. I love the length of this cardigan and it flows very nicely when you wear it.
