Nothing But Treble

If you are a musician, music teacher, music lover, or all of the above, this blouse is perfect for you! I fall into the “all of the above” category, so it is no surprise that when I saw this blouse in Hot Topic that I had to get it. This blouse was available in their store back in the winter and I styled it for the first time this summer.

As you can see, this music note blouse is very sheer, so I wore a black tank top underneath it. The music note pattern is what initially attracted me to this blouse, but I also adore the cute peter pan collar it has.

Since this blouse is black and white it will match many different pairs of colored shorts. I have worn royal blue shorts with this blouse, but for this look, I decided to stick with black shorts.

The back of this blouse has a little eyelet opening with a button at the top. The music note pattern also continues onto the back and sides of the blouse.

When it came time for accessories, I decided to wear white sandals to match my top. Of course, I needed a pop of color, so I wore my favorite bright blue sunglasses.

Not only is this look perfect for a fun, casual, summer day, it is also a great outfit for work. I wore this to teach music lessons one day and a lot of students loved the blouse.
