That's Amore

Short season is finally here and I could not be more excited about it! I am ready to start styling summer looks for the warm months ahead! This first summer look I was able to style last week due to the warm weather features a new pair of shorts from Express!

I saw these shorts a few months ago in Express and thought they would be perfect to wear on days I am teaching during the summer! These shorts are lightweight and flow very nicely. They almost look like a skirt because of the way the material flows! They are also super comfortable and they have pockets! The waistband of these shorts is elastic and I love the floral pattern all over them. This pattern is perfect for the spring and summer!

For this look I kept the shorts the focal point of my outfit. I wore a light blue tank top that matches the flowers on my shorts underneath a sheer cropped blouse from Material Girl. The cropped blouse helps to keep the look simple but the blue tank top underneath it adds a subtle splash of color!

I kept my shoes and accessories simple as well. I wore a pair of black sandals and black and white Ray-Bans. I wore this look out to one of my favorite Italian restaurants, Nunzios! This look is very versatile and can be worn for many different situations. It can be worn as a casual outfit or as a night out outfit like I did! Express might still have these shorts and if they do I would definitely recommend purchasing a pair! They are lightweight, comfortable, fun to style, and perfect for summer!
