Summer Jacket

Even though it is summertime, lightweight jackets are still a great item to have on hand. Sometimes it can a little chilly if you are going out on a summer night and a lightweight jacket can keep you warm and stylish. They are also great to bring with you on summer vacations. The location you are traveling to might not be as warm as home so it is always a good idea to be prepared with a jacket.

I purchased this One Hart jacket from Macy’s a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I actually had my eye on it for awhile but I decided to buy it when there was a good sale going on. This jacket is open and there are no zippers or buttons on it.

The print and color combination on this jacket is what attracted me to it. The pattern reminds me of southwestern ones that I would see on clothing and home decor in New Mexico last summer. The pretty shades of blue and purple that run throughout the pattern are perfect spring and summer colors.

When I styled this jacket it was not very hot out so I was able to wear a pair of white jeans. I wore a black t-shirt to keep the focus on the bold jacket. To add a little matching pop of color to this outfit, I styled a pair of teal Toms with this look.

Not only would an outfit similar to this one be perfect for a night out during the summer, it would be a great outfit for work. If you get too hot, you can remove the jacket and still have a great look with a fun pop of color on your shoes. This jacket is still available at Macy’s along with many others that would be great for summer occasions.
