The weather during September can always be unpredictable. Sometimes it feels like July and other times the weather is so cool that it feels like November. I personally love it when the weather is hot out. To solve this unpredictable temperature problem, I have been wearing a lot of capris and t-shirts lately.

Capris are perfect for the spring and fall. You will not overheat in them since they are not as long as jeans, yet you will not be cold in them. I purchased these purple capris from Delia’s many years ago and they are still one of my favorite pairs.

These capris are very bright in color so I always wear a neutral t-shirt to balance out my outfit. For this look, I decided to wear a new distressed shirt I purchased from the Express outlet. This shirt is very comfortable and will be easy to style with a ton of different outfits. My favorite part of this shirt is the distressed detailing all over it.

I also styled my two new favorite necklaces from Hunt & Orchard with this outfit. Hunt & Orchard was created by Michel, who was also one of the founders of Gypsy Warrior. I saw this Tell Your Tale necklace (ghost) and Jack necklace (pumpkin) on their Instagram last week and I had to buy them. The two necklaces I purchased are separate pieces but I styled them stacked over each other. I will also wear these necklaces all year because Halloween is every day for me.

September can be a tricky month for clothing. Some people start to wear sweaters and boots because they want fall to be here, and other people (like me) are still holding onto summer. Capris are my go to pants for in between season weather. They are easy to wear and they also come in dressier versions for a workplace friendly look.
