Spring Days and Stone Walls

Bold pants take up a majority of my closet and they are pretty much all I wear. Finding ways to style them for different occasions and seasons can be tricky, yet fun! When I was styling these floral jeans from Material Girl over the weekend, it was unfortunately going to be in the 50s outside. I was going to be on the go during the day and then seeing The 1975 at night so I knew I needed some layers to keep me warm.

For this look I played around with black and white pieces against these bold jeans. I wore a white long sleeve shirt under a cozy black cardigan. The black cardigan picked up the black background of the floral print on my jeans nicely. I knew I wanted to wear black shoes as well, so I chose theses black flats from Betsey Johnson.
Since there is a gold trim around my flats I decided to keep my accessories gold as well. I wore a black heart necklace from Betsey Johnson that had a gold chain, and a gold Alex and Ani bracelet. I did not want every accessory completely neutral so I wore a pair of teal Ray-Bans that matched some of the flowers on my pants. I also wanted to wear a cross-body bag with this look so I use my record one from Betsey Johnson.

If you have read my previous posts you know how much I love bold jeans. Styling and wearing them are a lot of fun but can be difficult at times. Usually it is warmer this time of year and I could wear a white or black t-shirt with these jeans. Since it was cold though I have to find ways to make this look warmer for the chilly spring weather. Don’t be afraid to find different ways to style bold jeans all year long!
