Flower Power

Floral, lightweight dresses are perfect for the spring and summer. They can be dressed up or down and they can be found in a variety of lengths and colors. One of my favorite floral dresses is this one I got from Express last year.

If the colorful flowers on this dress do not scream springtime, I do not know what does! I love the electric blues, purples, and coral colors that are found all over the dress. This dress is very lightweight and can be worn on a warm summer day or with a cardigan on a chilly spring day.

This dress has a halter neckline with pleats on the front on it. I wore this dress on Easter, but it can be styled for many different occasions. It is perfect for First Communions, Weddings, Graduation, and Graduation Parties.

I wore a pair of white sandals with this dress but you could make this look fancier by wearing a pair of heels instead. I also had a lot of fun with my accessories. I wore my coral octopus ring from Lauren G Adams to match the coral on my dress. Since this dress is covered in flowers, I had to use my daisy purse from Betsey Johnson to continue the floral theme.


This dress was a lot of fun to wear and easy to style. There are a ton of floral dress currently available in stores such as Forever 21, Express, Macy’s, Kohls, and Lulus. Get yourself a fun, floral dress for the spring and summer and I promise you will not regret it!
