Studs for Spring

A few weeks ago I received this awesome studded vest from My Best Friend’s Closet, a super cute boutique located in Tom’s River, New Jersey. This boutique was formed by a group of best friends. They sell a variety of clothing from day to nightwear, casual and dressy outfits, and even accessories! Not only is their clothing very stylish, but the boutique itself is very pretty and decorated perfectly.

I had a lot of fun wearing and styling this vest from My Best Friend’s Closet. Since it is black, it will match any pair of colored pants you own. For this look, I decided to style it with a pair of purple jeans. To give the vest an extra pop, I wore a white t-shirt underneath it. This vest can also be worn in the fall and winter over a long sleeve shirt.

My favorite aspect of this vest is the flaps that are covered in gold studs. There are a few studs on the back of the vest as well. This vest is made out of soft material. There is a buckle on the collar that can be worn open or closed but I chose to wear the collar open.



This vest is not sold in stores at the mall, which makes it even more fun to wear. Knowing you have a piece of clothing from a local boutique, feels very unique and special. Malls and chain retailers have great pieces of clothing, but if you want to find something different and unique, My Best Friend’s Closet is the way to shop!
