The little black dress, or LBD, is a must-have in your wardrobe. The styling possibilities and events you can wear this dress to are endless. A little black dress can be found in basically any store and they are available in many different styles.

I recently got this little black Betsey Johnson dress from Macy’s. Even though this dress has a very polished look to it, it is not stiff at all. In fact, it is very comfortable to wear. The length of the dress hits right below the knee and it has cute little cap sleeves.

When I say the styling possibilities are endless, I am not kidding! You can pair basically any color shoe with this dress, depending on the occasion you are wearing it too. I wore a pair of black zipper flats, but you can wear a bold colored shoe for a pop of color.

If you are not into wearing bold shoes, you could wear colorful and fun accessories instead. For this look, I wore one of my favorite Effy necklaces and a silver bracelet. I also paired my Rebecca Minkoff clutch, which you can read all about here, with this dress.

If colorful and fun accessories are not your style either, no problem! That is what makes a little black dress so great, you can style it with whatever accessories and shoes fit your personality and it will still look great! The most important thing about styling a dress or anything else is to be true to you and your style.

Looking for a little black dress is not that difficult. A wide range of stores have them from Macy’s to H&M. You can find them at different price points and with different lengths and cuts to them. A little black dress is also a great option for when you need something dressy but have no idea what to wear. It can also be worn over and over again just by mixing up the accessories and giving yourself a completely different look each time.
