An all black outfit is a look you can never go wrong with. It is perfect for any occasion and it never goes out of style. Styling an all black look can also be a lot of fun if you mix different patterns and textures together. One thing I enjoy about styling an all black outfit is adding an unexpected twist to it.
For this all black outfit I played around with different textures. I paired faux leather pants with a chiffon blouse, which are both from Material Girl. I also wore my black, quilted hearts flats from Betsey Johnson. The gold detail in the flats compliments the gold accents on the collar of the blouse. My favorite part about this look is not only styling different textures together but also the added twist to the back out the outfit!
The back of this blouse is so beautiful and funky with this awesome pattern taking up the entire back of it! Material Girl always does an amazing job adding crazy patterns to the back and sides of their blouses. My mom got me this blouse for Christmas years ago and it is definitely one of my favorite Material Girl pieces!
Not only do I love this insanely awesome pattern on the back of this blouse, but I also love the criss-cross cut outs as well! It is also really neat that the pattern continues throughout the cut out part of the blouse. Styling this blouse with an all black look is great because the outfit looks so simple in the front yet it has this awesome pattern on the back when you turn around.
If you come across a blouse similar to this one, simple on the front of it yet it has an awesome pattern on the back, I would recommend keeping the rest of your outfit simple. When there is a beautiful pattern on the back of a blouse you definitely want the pattern to be the focal point of the outfit. If you style an all black outfit correctly you can never go wrong. Adding an unexpected twist to the outfit though is even better!
