Under The Boardwalk

Last weekend I attended my very, very good friend’s wedding! The wedding and reception were at a beach town and it was a beautiful day! They had the cutest beach themed props, centerpieces and decorations. It was such a fun and classy wedding. It was definitely one of my favorite weddings that I have attended.

When I was deciding what to wear to the wedding I knew I wanted something fun, summery and beachy. I found everything I wanted in this awesome Betsey Johnson In The Mix Maxi Dress! As soon as I saw it on her website I knew that was exactly the dress I wanted. It’s full of my favorite color, blue, and it’s very lightweight, which is perfect for summer. Just looking at it I think of summer and the beach. This is definitely one of my favorite Betsey Johnson dresses that I own.

I decided to pair the dress with one of my Betsey Johnson cross-body bags, the Record Cross-Body Bag. It appears small but you can fit quite a bit of items in it. There is also a zipper compartment on the inside where you can keep credit cards and money.

To go along with the continuing Betsey Johnson theme, I purchased a pair of sandals from her website that match the dress perfectly. It is the Fadeout Sandal in the color Blue Multi. Just like the title of the sandal says, it fades into different shades of blue that match the dress. This is my first (and probably not my last) pair of Betsey Johnson sandals. They are super comfortable and perfect for summer! They are also my favorite color and this sandal does also come in a tan multi color. The ankle strap is also adjustable.

I decided to add a pop of a different color with my Ray-Ban Wayfarer Folding Flash lenses in Orange. The folding wayfarers are also perfect for small cross-body purses because they fit right into them.
